I realized I have to get back to work.
I have a very one-track mind.
And no, (in this particular case) I’m not talking about naughty things!
I have a tendency to hyper-focus on one thing at the time. Usually something new and exciting. And if that thing is something big, something that demands a lot of time and effort, it can steal my focus away from all the other important things in my life.
And I know this is true for many of us.
This is why so many people start out excited about their New Years resolutions (how are yours going?;), losing weight, quitting a bad habit, or whatever – and then once the next interesting thing comes along their goals go out the window.
Lately, I’ve been doing this for work, and with some of you guys reading this.
You see, in October I launched my new online program, and I got really excited about it.
I’ve done tons of webinar, written tons of articles, revived my email list, built funnels, made an invite-only Facebook group, learned about Facebook ads… you name it.
And while I was doing that I, mostly, forgot about the lifeline of my business – as well as one of my very favorite parts of it. I forgot about my old followers. The people on my Norwegian Facebook page stopped hearing from me. I forgot about my Norwegian blogs. I forgot about my websites.
And if you are one of the people who used to get a lot from those sources – or one of the people who have tried to reach out to me through the (unbeknownst to me until last night) broken contact forms on my websites – I’m sincerely sorry.
But I’m making it up to you. I’m getting back to work!
(And I’ll tell you what to expect at the bottom of this email, cause I think you’re gonna like it!)
But before this becomes all about me (again;), I want to check in with YOU.
What is something that you’ve forgotten about?
What is something that you decided you were going to do, work on, or become? Something you got started on, but never finished?
Health? Relationships? Money? Business? Hobbies? Entertainment? Sleep?
Is it time to get back to it?
If you know the answer is yes, but you’re not sure how to get started – or how to make sure you don’t stop after you start – send me an email and let me know, and I’ll see if I can help.
Because I want to help. That’s why I do this job. And I find that the more people I help for free – the more people approach me to ask about my services.
And that’s what I forgot.
But I won’t forget it again.
I’m getting back to work. And here’s what you can expect:
Personal attention: I am now available for emails from everyone with any questions you might have. I promise I will answer each email personally, for no other reason than to pay you back for the attention you’re giving me.
Free coaching: I’m also re-opening my free coaching schedule on an (for now) unlimited basis. So instead of a few hours available here and there every few weeks, there will be available free sessions at least until after the summer!
For the Norwegians:
Livskoden on Facebook is being revived. On this Facebook page I’ll post articles, videos, fun facts and more several times a week.
So that’s me, apologizing and hoping to set an example for those who need to get back to work. Whether that work is big or small.
Let’s do it together. Let’s refocus on building the lives we want for ourselves and the people around us!
